Do you offer a shuttle to the airport or attractions? No, while Reunion does offer an on property shuttle that can help you get around inside the Resort gates, we do not have an off property shuttle at this time. Guest Services team members are happy to help you arrange any transportation you need during your stay.
What does the service fee cover? In the manner of the most exclusive private clubs, Reunion Resort is a cashless and tip-less property so that a swipe of the electronic guest key card is all that is needed in order to enjoy the resort amenities and add any charges not already included in the nightly rates to your guest account. The service fee covers all general resort gratuities such as bellmen, housekeepers, concierge, valet parking attendants, pool attendants, etc. so that your vacation is hassle and worry free. Gratuities for food and beverage, golf, tennis and spa services are not included in the service fee and are added automatically at point of sale based upon the purchase amount.
How close are the homes to Walt Disney World and other area attractions? All the homes are located within the gated Reunion Resort community, in resort neighborhoods designed for vacation use. The main gates of Reunion Resort are located within 6 miles of the entrance to the Walt Disney World Resort® and just a 20 – 25 minute drive from Sea World/Aquatica and Universal Studios/Islands of Adventure featuring the new Wizarding World of Harry Potter (opening June 2010)
Do you have any activities at the resort for children? In addition to the supervised activities at Kids Crew, there is a multi-acre Water Park, playground at Center Court Ridge and Villas South, activities at the Seven Eagles Pavilion including the Hideaway Arcade, among many others.
If I am staying in the area and not staying at the resort can I play golf at your course? The amenities at Reunion Resort are reserved for the use of Members and Resort Guests. If you are not a guest at the resort, you will not have access to the golf courses, Water Park, restaurants and other amenities on property.
What is your deposit and cancellation policy? Deposit Information: A deposit of one night's room charge (including fees and taxes) is due at time of reservation confirmation. Remaining balance will be due 7 days prior to arrival. Reservations must be secured by a valid credit card: American Express, Discover, Master Card or Visa.
Cancellation Policy: Cancellations must be made 7 days prior to arrival. Cancellations made inside of 7 days will forfeit all deposits made, resulting in a total loss of both the first and second deposits.
Do I get to choose the exact home I will be staying in? Yes, with Reunion Resort Vacation Homes, you get to select the home of your choice based on your vacation preferences. We feel this is the best way to ensure your complete satisfaction with the home.
Is it possible that my vacation home choice may change prior to check-in? While we will always try to keep guests in the specific home that they have requested and booked, sometimes circumstances beyond our control may require us to move bookings to another Reunion Resort home. In the rare instance that this should occur, we will always endeavor to assure that the reservation is moved to a home of similar or better quality than the home originally reserved and will make every attempt to communicate this change to the guest at the earliest possible opportunity prior to arrival.
Are there restaurants and shopping near the homes? Yes, there are a choice of 6 different restaurants and bars on property as well as a resort gift shop, golf pro shop and tennis pro shop. All are within a short walk or drive of the homes or guests can use our complimentary on-resort shuttle service. “Reunion to go” also offers a limited menu of prepared hot and cold food items available for delivery directly to your home (hours vary seasonally). For grocery shopping, grocery pre-stock can be arranged prior to guest arrival through the Reunion concierge and after arrival, there is an excellent full service grocery store immediately outside the Reunion Resort main entrance. Orlando is home to a wide variety of world-class restaurants and shopping experiences, many within an easy, short drive of the resort and your Reunion Resort concierge will be happy to assist with recommendations.
Do I need to clean the home? No, all home prices include full daily maid service provided by our professional team of housekeepers and inspectors. For quick touch-ups during your stay, each home is equipped with a mop, vacuum, broom, washing machine, dryer, dishwasher and dust pan. If you would like a nightly turn-down service, please call our concierge staff for details.
Do I need to bring towels and linens to the home? We provide you with hotel quality, professionally laundered linens and towels. Each home has two sets of linens for each bed and ample towels. Linen change is provided every three days. Since towels may not be removed from the homes, pool towels are provided for use at all resort pools. You may wish to bring beach towels if you are taking a day trip to the beach.
Are the homes non-smoking? Yes, all our homes are non-smoking. Guests are permitted to smoke on the patio area outside. Any damage in the homes caused by smoking will be charged a cleaning fee.
Do you allow pets? Pets are not allowed. Any damage in the homes caused by pets will be charged a cleaning fee.
Are the swimming pools heated? During the colder months, the Water Park pools and lazy river as well as most resort community swimming pools are all heated to approximately ten degrees warmer than the outside air. Private home swimming pools are not heated and not all homes have pool heating available – please contact a reservations specialist for more information on homes with pool heating. For guests staying in homes with pool heating systems, pool heating is available for an additional $75 per day, minimum 3 days. Please note that it may take 12-24 hours to fully heat.
Is high speed internet available on property? Yes, all Reunion Resort homes include complimentary wired high speed internet. Some homes may also provide a wireless router (see home details at time of booking). Complimentary WiFi access is also available in some of the common areas and restaurants on property. There is also a business center and less formal “internet café” on property where computer and internet access is complimentary to all guests using their electronic resort keys.
What about parking? Complimentary parking is available on the private driveways to each home. Garages are not available for guest use.
Is security provided? Reunion Resort provides our own 24-hour on-resort security service. From the friendly greeting you will receive every time you enter and leave the property, to the timely on-resort response should any emergency arise, you can rest assured that our friendly and knowledgeable security staff members are available to assist our resort guests at a moment’s notice as needed.
